Helen’s art explores the intersection of traditional and contemporary fiber art. The connection between women, work and textiles is a recurring theme in her artwork. Helen exhibits extensively in both local, community exhibits and national venues and her professional associations include Woman Made Gallery in Chicago, Surface Design Association and Women’s Caucus for Art in Indiana. A former art teacher, Helen has a Bachelors of Fine Art from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Science in Education from Indiana University in South Bend. Helen resides in South Bend.
